The Tax Relief Act 2022 maintains various measures to reduce the tax burden on employees. In addition to increases in the basic tax-free allowance and the employee lump sum, these also include a one-time energy price lump sum or a child bonus. At the summer webinar, numerous customers learned about the program adjustments and setting options in Sage Human Resources, which are implemented from version 2022.3.x onwards.

The relief law also includes the increase in the distance allowance for long-distance commuters, which is limited until 2026, and the mobility bonus for low-income earners.

The webinar also provided an update on the electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU). Independently of this, there are now also instructions for action to take into account the energy price lump sum.

In addition to program adjustments, content settings are necessary for implementation in Sage HR software.
