Software changes are often implemented at the turn of the year. Data from legacy systems is transferred either partially or completely. New requirements may also arise in the future that require data to be transferred regularly between different systems. This year, we have once again migrated a number of customers to the software products we distribute.

To ensure the necessary transfers between different software products, it is necessary to have knowledge of the requirements on the one hand. On the other hand, however, the right interface product must also exist. There are very different approaches on the market.

The exchange often takes place via standardized output formats, e.g., the Datev format or text files. Alternatively, the data can also be retrieved directly from the legacy system and then transferred.

Depending on the software product, we ourselves use converters that are easy to configure or interface formats offered by the manufacturers for one-time or regular data exchange.

The advantage of this is that the financial and time expenditure for configuration is manageable in each case.

This means that in the future, it will be possible to concentrate on more important issues.
